Adult Grief Support Group
Leader: Carole Ricker, RN, NCBF

Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.  Matthew 5:4

Fall 2016 Start date: The groups will meet for 13 sessions on Monday evenings beginning October 3rd at 6:30 pm in Room 22

An adult grief support group begins at our church each September.  This group is open to members of our congregation and the community.  The group meets on Monday evenings from 6:30 - 8:00 pm.

The grief support group mission statement is as follows:  By learning about the grief recovery process through a variety of resources, each member will make his/her journey through grief while supporting one another.

The grief support group vision statement is as follows:  As a result of participation in the group and after a period of healing, each individual will reach out to others while leading a positive and productive life as a testimony to the memory of their loved one.

For further information please call Carole Ricker at 679-7766 or the church office at 679-1513.

Grief is neither a problem to be solved nor a difficulty to overcome.   Grief is a sacred expression of love.
